STA travel...so hot right now

One nice thing about the stints in the big smoke is familiar faces.
Simon and Kate at STA always make the days more fun. Here they are, looking special as ever. Did you know you can book Preseli Venture weekends through STA? Well, you can!





Ah, Brian. Every year I see him. He always asks me how the horses are, and I have to explain to him we don't keep horses at Preseli Venture. The memory of a goldfish - but definitely one of the jollyest and most likeable characters I know.





And then there are new people too. Here is Erica, fresh off the plane from the good old US of A, finding her feet in London and settling in to a whole new world. She LOVES cows. But in a good way.

Adventures - London stylee

I'm in the big smoke , meeting lots of lovely people, and telling them all about Pembrokeshire! I feel abit of a bumpkin, a country mouse, pulling bits of straw out of my hair.

In an attempt to glam up and fit in to the London set - I paid someone to put goop on my eyebrows and then wax them off. Ouch.

It's all abit overawing! Hamming it up in Chinatown, shortly before we saw Pete Burns chowing down outside Ed's easy diner. London's fun, but gosh it's expensive. Home soon!

Love at Preseli Venture - a historical perspective

Just got this email from a lovely lady that came to stay with us, a good few years ago now;

"Just wanted to drop all at Preseli Venture an email with what will hopefully be an interesting update!

In 2005, I came to your centre as a lone female to join the 'Adrenalin cocktail' weekend over the May bank holiday.

One evening round the campfire I attempted to slip back to my caravan for a cardigan. I never made it back to the campfire as I was intercepted on route by one of the stag party, Chris... And as it turned out, his bold move was the right one to make - we have been together ever since, and are now expecting a baby in June!

We obviously have very fond memories of that long weekend in Wales, and wish you all well. Maybe we will come back one day as a little family!"

Happy New Year!

Ah...it's good to be back! First day back at work yesterday. This was home for part of December - camping on the beach in Oman, snorkelling by day and campfiring by night. Just like Pembrokeshire - only hotter!













But it's nice to be back, and we're all ready for action. See you soon!
